The Committee for Career Development

The Committee for Career Development (CCD) is an organization of graduate students and postdoctoral scientists at the University of Texas Medical Branch. We are here to serve and promote the success of all students and postdocs in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences by organizing seminars and workshops focusing on different topics of interest, some of which include teaching and grant writing skills, negotiations ad interviewing skills, CV and resume workshops and other proficiencies sets required for a successful scientific career.

The CCD was founded in 1996.

The CCD's Goal

Our goal is to expose students and fellows to career opportunities and to help them acquire the skills needed to further their professional lives.

We invite you to join the CCD!
