GSBS Research Expo

The GSBS is proud to announce the launch of the annual GSBS Research Expo that will showcase all of our trainees and offer an amazing Dean’s Lecture Keynote speaker!  Please mark your calendars for Friday, September 22, 2023 from 11am-5pm and come check out the poster sessions, informational tables, and network with faculty and trainees from across the UTMB campus.

The Dean’s Lecture will begin at 4pm and features Dr. Jesse Erasmus, a former student at the GSBS who received his Ph.D. under the direction of Dr. Scott Weaver.  Dr. Erasmus is currently the Director of Virology at HDT Bio in Seattle, WA, where he works to develop new RNA vaccines and other therapeutic technologies.
