The
University of Texas Medical Branch and the UT TeleCampus (UTTC) have
developed an innovative degree program to meet the growing need for
Biomedical Ph.D.'s in business and industry. This concurrent enrollment
program integrates existing, approved Ph.D. programs at UTMB with the MBA
online program offered by the UT TeleCampus to provide an important new
curriculum for students with a desire to enter a variety of business
career tracks.
This
Program, designed for biomedical students, prepares graduates not only for
traditional biotechnology and pharmaceutical careers, but also for
administrative positions in finance, marketing and research, and for
entrepreneurial roles at high-tech start-up companies.
To
be considered for eligibility in the concurrent enrollment program, you
must be a student in good standing in a UTMB graduate program, have
advanced to candidacy and meet other requirements listed in the website.
