We are pleased to announce the Graduate School of Biomedical
Sciences will host the
Annual
Scholarship Awards Luncheon on Friday, October 24, 2008 at the
Hotel Galvez Ballroom.
It
will be our pleasure to recognize the outstanding achievements of
graduate students and to share this special occasion with their
faculty mentors, family members and the generous donors whose
contributions have made these awards possible.
The
committee invites nominations for these prestigious scholarships,
each with a generous award. To nominate a student or to place your
own name in consideration, please provide the information requested
on the attached
Nomination form.
The
Specific Field of Study Scholarship Awards committee will review nominations and
select the recipient of each of the following restricted
scholarships. Forms are enclosed for your convenience in identifying
those individuals you feel should be honored.
Please note that the nomination form has changed and that all
requirements must be met. Remember the
deadline date of Monday,
September 8, 2008.
Special Note - For scholarship
requiring demonstrated financial need, please go to the Office of
Enrollment Services, 1.206 Ashbel Smith Bldg., and have them send
proof of financial need to GSBS, attention Angie Tropea, route 1050.
