The Committee for Career Development
The Committee for Career Development (CCD) is an organization of graduate students and postdoctoral scientists at the University of Texas Medical Branch. We are here to serve and promote the success of all students and postdocs in the Graduate School by organizing seminars and workshops focusing on different topics, which include teaching and grant writing skills, negotiating and interviewing skills, CV and resume workshops, and other proficiencies sets required for a successful scientific career.
The goal of the CCD is to expose students and postdocs to career opportunities and help them acquire skills they need for the next steps in their professional lives.
The CCD has been in existence since 1996.
